It is important that we develop life skills in our students. Music is an ever present aspect of all of our lives. It is a ‘cantus firmus’ for our lives. Music is endlessly popular in our culture and children absorb music from a very early age. Children absorb music daily and learn skills of sing back, repetition and imitation. These skills can be developed in music lessons and children can develop important life skills.
We feel as John Rutter does about the importance of choir – see his thoughts here!!
